CreativiSTL’s mission is simple: Amplify the voices of talented creatives who have been traditionally discounted or marginalized. In particular (but not limited to) those whose work focuses on social, economic and environmental justice. Now, more than ever, we need to include stories from all perspectives that spark conversation. Most importantly we need to listen to and empathize with each other.
If you’re a creativist, and would like your story told - hit us up. We want to help you. If you know someone who should have their story told, hit us up. We want to help them.
Who’s behind this project?
rob rosenwinkel
Rob has 20+ years of design experience (web, video, photography, print…you name it) and, like most Creative Directors, has a degree in Economics and Environmental Studies…say what? Well, like most inexperienced college graduates who have student loans to pay, he needed a job, and that led to a newsletter writing gig in a marketing department, which led to lots of exposure to all things design, which led to a couple photography classes at the community college (shout out Flo Valley!), which led to a strong interest in web design and video production, and a couple more classes at the community college, and, well you get the idea. Throw in a healthy sprinkling of reading and LOTS of on the job experience, and here we are.
